Use of Smart Phone Technology in the Classroom
As a junior high school we are investigating the use of smart phones in the classroom as a learning tool. There is a lot of hot debate around this as you can imagine. I would be very interested in the experiences of other schools. I know that Albany Senior High use them extensively and we will be meeting with Mark Osborne soon to discuss their experiences. Your input would be helpful.

Smartphones in Schools
On an individual basis, this is evolving as personal need dictates. On a school wide level, there are many factors to consider in its integration.
We would like to gather all educators considering the move in this direction along to a few different sessions next term; this will include brainstorming and sharing around teaching and learning implications.
Vodaphone is also setting up info sessions on Smartphone technology, around general safety and security and as it relates to communities, etc. Hoping to book one in for NEAL early in Term 3.
